Christmas Phase II

Last weekend my side of the family got together at Patrick and Karen's house, to exchange gifts and celebrate my dad's birthday.

Shockingly, we got a nice picture of all seven cousins! Another Christmas miracle.

The Academy Award for Most Excited About a Present goes to CC, upon receiving her Elsa dress and shoes from Uncle Jon and Aunt Susan. She didn't take it off the rest of the day.

(Honorable Mention also goes to CC, upon receiving both Belle and Ariel barbies from Aunt Karen and Uncle Patrick. Ariel is meant to be a water toy, but CC would not hear of it at bath time last night. "No! She stays in my doll house!")

Pepere got quite a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday when it was time for cake! And some extra hands helping him open his birthday presents.

All the kids had a blast playing with Braxton and Bryson's toys -- which were unfortunately strewn all over the house within minutes. But it was a really nice day. Karen and Patrick's house was so beautifully decorated, the food was delicious, and everything was relaxed and casual.

Christmas 2015 and New Year's are in the books, folks! Hope everyone had a good one (and happy birthday, Dad!).
