Trike A Thon 2016

This week, CC's school had their annual Trike-A-Thon to benefit St Jude Children's Hospital, and as I mentioned last year, it is a Very Big Deal. Regardless of the name, kids can bring any riding toy they like. The big difference this time around? CC could ride her "big girl bike" with no training wheels!

After the necessary safety briefing, they gathered at the starting line and they were off!

Equal parts serious and smiley, she rode almost the whole time (with one water break to complain about how her legs hurt).

Little Man and Sweet Pea didn't participate this year, because CC's time to ride fell during lunchtime. So they sat on the sidelines, ate their lunch, and helped me cheer on their big sister. Next year they'll be the ones riding!
