The kids practically broke our bedroom door down this morning in their excitement to tell us about the snow. We watched the flakes swirl around the yard during breakfast, then it was time to bundle up and head outside to play while the snow lasted!

Snow!
Well, look what happened today! It's March, for goodness' sake! And just a few days ago, it was 80 degrees!
The kids practically broke our bedroom door down this morning in their excitement to tell us about the snow. We watched the flakes swirl around the yard during breakfast, then it was time to bundle up and head outside to play while the snow lasted!
After a walk, lobbing a few snowballs at Daddy, and making a ridiculously cute and tiny snowman, they trooped inside for hot chocolate and books. Little Man and I made a double-sided light saber (a "saberstaff" a la Darth Maul), because ... why not?
