Mothers' Day

What a nice day! I was greeted first thing in the morning by three very excited kids who gave me a goofy card. Then I lazed around in bed before coming downstairs and having some Krispy Kreme donuts for breakfast. Hey, it's Mothers' Day!

Little Man and I drove up to meet my mom for a nice lunch, and surprised her with some flowers from my dad. Even from up north on the Appalachian Trail, he was thinking of her and making sure her special day was recognized!

We came home in time to play outside for a while before an awesome Mother's Day dinner prepared by Uncle John and Shannon. Wow. Every bit of it was devoured, and even Little Man declared it "delicious!"
