Pumpkin Carving

The 2017 Morrison Jack O'Lantern is in the books. We carved it up on Sunday evening, at the end of a nice Halloween-themed weekend.

The kids wanted it to be a "spooky faced pumpkin." We looked at jack o'lanterns online until we found one we all agreed on, then I drew the face onto the pumpkin in pencil. CC traced over the lines in dark marker, and then Little Man "helped" MJ cut it up.

It was supposed to have three teeth, but no one seemed to mind when one of them went flying with a slip of the knife. Good thing MJ didn't let Little Man's hand get anywhere near the blade.

Ta da! Spooky faces all around, ready for Halloween!
