Knowledgeable CC

CC won an award at her school for this month! She's won plenty of the daily awards here and there, commending her on good behavior, or acting with character, or being helpful. But this was the first time she's received one of the big monthly awards! 

Her teacher let me know ahead of time, so I could be at the assembly. But the students don't know in advance who's winning, so Sweet Pea and Little Man and I had to hide behind chairs and other parents so CC couldn't see us in the back of the gym.

The principal called her name, everyone cheered, and we stood up in the back to wave frantically at her. The commendation read: "CC Morrison is receiving the award for being knowledgeable because she is very bright and knows lots of interesting information. She is always excited to share new things she has learned with her peers."
