Fairy Party Extraordinaire

It was the most girly, sparkly fairy party ever, and CC loved every second of it!

The kids each got a pair of fairy wings (even the boys, who loved them) and fluttered around the yard non-stop.

We made little fairy gardens, and planted wildflower seeds in them so they can grow in the next few weeks.

The cake my mom made might be my favorite one yet. All those tiny little details are amazing! At CC's request, the top layer was carrot cake, and at my request, the bottom layer was chocolate. Look closely and you can see that there are little magic lights all around the base and the fairy house!

The baby bunnies might have been "checked on" seventeen thousand times, but no one touched them and they seem none the worse for wear. The little fence and flowers fit right in with the party theme!

Many thanks to Carol for providing a lot of the decor. I love how everything turned out! Don't you love the fairy jars and the table runner?

Happy birthday, CC! Your seventh birthday party is in the books.
