The kids were supposed to start going back into their school building part-time this week, but Covid numbers around here are skyrocketing out of control, so in-person instruction has been pushed back another six weeks. I know it's the right decision, but it's so sad to think that we're quickly coming up on a year of being out of our typical full-time school schedule.
In the meantime, we're staying busy at home, thriving on our routines: Taco Tuesday, Dessert Wednesday, Pizza Friday, Sunday Night Movie.

CC has started paying Sweet Pea to clean her room for her. It's a win-win for both, as long as CC's savings hold out. Sweet Pea used her newfound earnings to buy a new LOL doll (as if she didn't get enough for Christmas!). CC is quite put out, since LOL dolls are her favorites, but the girls compromised by combining their collection in a high-rise condo tower CC built, complete with elevator.
Little Man has gotten better at PlayStation Madden NFL, and has come pretty close to beating MJ a few times. It's become their tradition to play every weekend, and I love hearing their trash talk.
Amber continues to have her BEST YEAR EVER. So much attention! So many walks! So much stolen food!
Lastly, I've started teaching the kids piano myself, to better flex with our family's schedule. It's working out better than I anticipated: there are fewer complaints about practicing, and even some instances of voluntary playing!
