Snow!

It snowed! The kids were eagerly anticipating sledding, making snowmen, and having a snowball fight. MJ and I were skeptical -- it almost never snows that much around here!

The night before, all 3 kids slept with spoons under their pillows. They happily flushed ice cubes down the toilet. But they drew the line at wearing their pajamas inside out. And that turned out to be the most important bit, apparently!

A few flurries finally made their appearance, it was 6:30. Sweet Pea was at gymnastics, and Little Man and CC were getting ready for bed. But we couldn't pass up the opportunity to see what might be the only snowflakes we get this year!

It was so dark that my camera had a really hard time focusing, but fortunately I got a few shots worth keeping.

It flurried for about 30 minutes, but nothing stuck. Sweet Pea reports that she was able to watch some of the snow from her gym, so she didn't miss it entirely. 

If only they had worn their pajamas inside out, maybe we would have had some real snow!
