Baby Goat, doo doo doo doo doo doo ...

There's a sweet family not too far away that owns a goat farm. They allow one family at a time to schedule "baby goat playdates" to play with the goats, help feed them, learn more about them, and generally just swoon over their cuteness. I couldn't wait to sign us up!

Little Man was all about the goats -- he held them right away, got right down on the ground with them, and scampered around the pasture. Surprisingly, it took a little time for the girls to warm up. But after a little while, all the cuteness won them over -- they couldn't resist some adorable baby goat cuddles!

Apparently multiple births are very common among goats, especially Mini Nubians. We saw several sets of twins, and even these triplets, who are just a few weeks old.

We were lucky enough that one of the mamas had just given birth the day before. This precious little girl was only one day old!

We ended our visit by bottle-feeding some of the month-old Boers. (Notice that as CC feeds one, another is chewing her shoelaces! CC couldn't stop giggling. These goats chew everything!)

I think this has to be an annual event from now on!
