Little Man's baseball season is over, but it was a huge WIN in my book! He learned how to fit in with a team, support his teammates through the good and the bad, and he improved exponentially. I told him after the final game that if there was an award for Most Improved, he would have received it. Even his coach made a point to tell us how far Little Man had come.
He ended the season strong, going 3 for 3 in the last game, including a solid line drive past the shortstop for his last at bat.
Little Man kept a good attitude and really enjoyed himself, never failing to wave at us or give us a thumbs up.

In my opinion, there is no better way to spend an evening than watching baseball -- even more so when it's my son. I can't wait until fall ball, and I hope Little Man never stops playing!
