Last weekend was CC's jazz recital, and boy has she been excited about it! This was her first time trying jazz, and her first dance class since ballet as a kindergartener. She loved it! And I think jazz really suits her personality: fun and spunky with a little bit of sass.
Unfortunately the song they danced to ("Little Swing" by AronChupa) is copyrighted, and YouTube would not allow me to upload the video. Ridiculous. So I had to choose a different song from YouTube's audio library, and this is the closest I could get! CC is the dancer on the far left at the beginning of the video.

Grandma and Grandpa were on hand to watch it, as well as Memere and Pepere. What a blessing, to have both sets of grandparents so close by! CC was showered with support, compliments, and flowers, and she was all smiles.
CC has already decided that next year she wants to take Jazz again, "plus Acro Dance, and maybe Hip Hop."
