Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my parents, Patrick, Karen, and Braxton and Bryson. And Lily, of course, who was not to be forgotten!

It was pretty calm and peaceful, which is exactly the way I like my Thanksgivings. Everyone chatted, the kids played, we ate until we were stuffed, and generally had a really nice time.

My parents gave little flying spheres to each of the kids, and for the rest of the afternoon, the house was full of the whine of levitating objects as they zipped around the house. They are so much fun!

Bonus: we celebrated Bryson and Braxton's birthdays, too! My mom made a Minecraft cake out of brownies, and the boys went crazy when they saw it.

On Friday, CC and Sweet Pea worked on a USA map that my parents brought, and they all finished it in just a few hours.

It was over too soon, but as we watched our first Christmas movie of the year, our excitement has already turned towards December. Onward to Christmas!
