Sweet Pea tried running for the first time this year, and she really enjoyed it! It's an activity she shares with MJ, so they "trained" together for the team 5K that happened this morning.
The kids giggled to see MJ wearing a bright pink shirt, but we were all on hand to cheer on Daddy and Sweet Pea. Not surprisingly, she and MJ finished well ahead of the majority of runners, and she was the first from her school team to finish by far. She and MJ are pretty convinced that they could have won outright if they had been at the front when the starting gun went off. Maybe next year?
