O Christmas Tree

It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and we bought our tree! We've never bought it in November before, but the kids were begging, and last year there were very slim pickings in December.

It was Sweet Pea's turn to put the star on top, and she decided she was too big to have Daddy lift her up. So we got out the ladder, and she was the first Morrison kid to put the star on all by herself.

Over this last week, we've put the finishing touches on it, and I love it. It's perfectly imperfect, and we'll get to enjoy it for a whole month. I think the kids have me sold on putting Christmas decorations up early from now on!
