The tennis ladies and I went on another trip this fall, to Wild Dunes this time, after I worked with their pros to create our own set of lessons and clinics. We ended up with 9 ladies, because Alison originally couldn't come but then her schedule changed, and Lauren broke her foot a few weeks prior to the weekend (but still came to hang out with us and have fun).
I was exhausted and barely made it to the weekend, since we moved back into our house the night before the trip! I had to move us from the temporary house back home and unpack everything that MJ and the kids would need for the weekend before I could head out. But I was determined to go! I planned the whole trip, for goodness' sake! So I worked until the wee hours of the morning, got the kids off to school on Friday morning, and dozed in the back of Christy's car on the way there.
Ahead of the weekend, we all purchased a wig for an exchange we did on the first night. Everyone's wigs were hilarious! And they definitely made appearances on the tennis courts during the weekend.
As always, the weekend was full of laughter, wine, card games, gummies, and margaritas. Oh, and some tennis.
