Photo Friday

CC has been making this adorable new face lately -- scrunching up her nose.  It's so cute, but I have been unable to catch her doing it on my camera.  So until I manage that feat, here's an equally adorable pic of her in her purple leopard pajamas.  They're still a little too big for her, but they are in the rotation anyway because of Mommy Lesson #2,694:  you can never have too many pajamas!

This afternoon, MJ and I are packing up and taking a long road trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains (it will be CC's longest car ride -- pray for us!).  MJ and a buddy of his are participating in a Tough Mudder, a grueling 9-mile race through very tough obstacles (such as climbing 12-foot walls, running through burning fields, getting shocked with electrified wires, etc).  The entire course will be thick with mud, many obstacles involve water, and temperatures will be in the high 40s and low 50s.  Brrrrr!  Good luck to both of them -- pictures will follow.  The three ladies will be there at the finish line to welcome them in.
