Sorry, Grandma Sally ... CC loves it! I steamed it, then mashed it, and CC liked it so much she had seconds.
Oddly, she still can't stand apples. I thought she'd get used to the new taste and start liking it, as she did with avocado and carrots. But no -- CC definitely hates apples, at least right now. The only time I've been able to get her to eat them is if I mixed a LOT of butternut squash with them. But if the mixture came even close to a 50-50 split, she was having none of it. She would gag, retch, refuse to open her mouth, and actually shudder when I would feed them to her. So we are taking an apple break for now -- we'll try them again later.
