CC has a set of tins that were given to her by a neighbor when she was born. They are for making a plaster mold of her hand on each birthday from her first until her fifth. They stack nicely on top of each other, making a little stack of concentric circles. They have been out on our coffee table for the last few weeks, because we recently made the mold of her hand in the first-birthday tin, and I just haven't gotten around to putting them away until next year.
This afternoon, as I was cleaning up after her lunch, I realized that CC was making trips into the family room, and one by one bringing each tin into the kitchen, putting it on the floor, and then returning to the family room to repeat it with the next tin. I stopped and watched while she did it for all five tins.
Whatever possessed her to do this? Why would she go through the effort to bringing these (fairly heavy) tins, one by one, into a different room and putting them all down in a row on the floor? Whatever gave her the idea? Even Rory was mystified!
