Last week, Grandma and Grandpa flew into town for CC's party. We hadn't seen them since Thanksgiving, so we were very happy that they came to visit.
There was a lot of book reading ...
And even more book reading ... (the title of this book is 41 Uses for a Grandma)
We went to the children's museum and had a blast playing at the water table, building with all kind of blocks, riding little cars, and checking out the fish in the aquarium:
Between the museum and a short babysitting stint on Friday morning, Little Man bonded with Grandma and even voluntarily held her hand on several occasions. High praise, indeed!
We spent a lot of time outside, too. CC showed off her bike-riding skills (Grandma and Grandpa were duly impressed). And Grandma drew our whole family on the driveway with chalk, much to CC's delight.
Big hugs for Grandpa, who serenaded the kids with his rendition of "Sing a Song of Sixpence," which CC calls "Grandpa's song."
Bye bye, Grandma and Grandpa! Come back soon!
