Nap Shenanigans

Squeezing two cribs, a glider, a small table and a dresser into a room makes for a tight fit. And lately I've been reminded how two enterprising toddlers can take advantage of their close proximity to everything.

Little Man has been able to reach books from one end of his crib for a while, so finding him asleep on top of Steam Train, Dream Train is no longer surprising. But recently I was startled to hear white noise coming from the nursery during naptime. I hadn't turned the white noise on. But Little Man had. He'd figured out how to reach the little machine, and cycled through all the options before settling on "gurgling water."

Sweet Pea can take things out of the laundry basket (if it's full). Recently we've been watching her on our video monitor, removing articles of clothing and trying them on. Today, it was a pair of navy shorts:

(You'd think that this would motivate me to keep up with the laundry. Nope. It just motivates me to cram dirty clothes down as far as possible into the hamper, to keep them out of her reach!)
