Cookies for Santa (and us, too)

So ... the obligatory Christmas cookie-making. I dread the mess this makes of my kitchen! But the memories are delicious and the kids have a blast, so here we go ...

Sweet Pea's philosophy was to make mountains of sprinkles on each cookie.

Little Man didn't eat any sprinkles. He swears.

Success! The kids approve, and I'm sure Santa will too.

For the record, I used a new recipe this year, one with cream cheese. The cookies kept their shape well and stayed nice and soft, but I think I prefer the flavor of traditional sugar cookies.
