Princess CC

CC had her first drop-off party this past Saturday: the birthday of a girl in her preschool class. It was princess-themed, and all the girls were asked to attend in their best royal attire.

My concern: CC has no princess dresses! Fortunately a friend of mine with two older daughters had quite the selection for CC to pick from. She chose this pink dress adorned with jewels, and traipsed off to the party in style.

I picked her up two hours later, and she was all smiles. I was happy to hear that she was not the child who ran upstairs and refused to come down for the duration of the party. CC decorated her own tiara, ate a good lunch, played nicely with the other girls, refused to get her face painted, and came home with a purple balloon. Bliss, according to a 3-year-old.
