Hurricane Day

While Hurricane Joaquin wreaks havoc along the coast, we are merely being deluged with rain. But after having non-stop rain for the last 2 weeks, it's hardly welcome. Once again, we are stuck indoors all weekend. Once again, we had to cancel our weekend plans. What to do with three kids cooped up indoors on a Saturday?

Make chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. Go to our local science museum for Dinosaur Day. Come home for PB&J lunches. Help mom make sugar cookies. Take naps. Watch a lot of football. Play with flashlights. Build a fort in the family room. 

All in all, not such a bad day. Go Irish!
