Spring Break Part I

On Good Friday, we headed to visit Grandma and Grandpa. There was so much for the kids to be excited about: seeing Grandma and Grandpa! Easter! Flying on an airplane! Renting a minivan! (This was disappointingly high on their list.)

The kids were shockingly good on the plane. We'd let them pack their own snacks and toys for the flight, plus we loaded a few episodes of Dora on MJ's tablet. The result was three incredibly well-behaved children, despite our flight being delayed on the runway for 45 minutes. Hooray!

Saturday we went to an Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa's club, which was a lot of fun. Fortunately our three are young enough to enjoy hunting the empty plastic eggs that the big kids found first, took the candy from, and dropped back on the ground! Everyone had a blast and looked adorable in their Easter attire. (Check out Little Man's shoes. Awesomeness!)

We also dyed hard-boiled eggs, which the kids had never done before. We will definitely do it again in the future!

Easter Sunday we attended church. While we were there, much to CC's relief, the Easter Bunny visited Grandma and Grandpa's house (CC had feared that the Easter Bunny wouldn't be able to find us). There was much excitement as they tore through their Easter baskets. I especially love the picture of Sweet Pea -- such joy!

Later that afternoon we shared a delicious dinner -- thanks to Grandma -- and had another Easter egg hunt. It was a great weekend!
