Happy Birthday, Matt!

We started off the day with a bang, by serving MJ breakfast in bed (although he'd already been up for hours). A pineapple-upside-down pancake cake with homemade sausage. It was promptly augmented by the kids' gifts to him: salami, candy sushi, sour patch kids, Cadbury Creme Eggs (MJ's favorite) and spicy snack mix. 

Presents followed, then MJ came with me to bring the kids to school before I dropped him off at work. Tonight we're having a fun date night: dinner and a basketball game.
