Visitors

Last weekend we welcomed some visitors with open arms: Aunt Maripat, Uncle John, Shannon and Uncle Brien. Cheers to extra helping hands around the house! The kids assembled the Olympic-mascot lego set Shannon brought from Brazil, worked on puzzles with Uncle John and played endless rounds of Sneaky Snacky Squirrel.

We went to a park, shuttled the kids around to their schools, took CC to her final ballet practice before the big recital, skipped her school carnival (postponed due to storms -- boo), and attended Sweet Pea and Little Man's gymnastics showcase. John and Shannon whipped up an amazing Mother's Day dinner for me and Maripat on Sunday (okay, everyone else enjoyed it too -- even the kids!). And then it was time to say good-bye. ¡Buen viaje!
