Dress Up Day
At CC's school last week, students were allowed to forego their uniforms one day to dress up like a book character. CC chose "The Paper Bag Princess," by Robert Munsch. My favorite princess story! Such a wonderful introduction to girl power and feminist literature. I was happy to whip out my hot glue gun and a yard of brown felt to make it happen.
