It was Pepere's birthday today, and we decided to surprise him! So we piled into the car after breakfast, drove all the way there, and snuck up to the front door. When he opened it, we jumped around and sang the birthday song! He said it was his best gift.
We spent a few hours visiting with my parents, playing games and building with Lincoln Logs out on their back porch. It was such a nice way to spend the day! And the kids were very impressed with the Whoopie Pies Memere made to celebrate Pepere's birthday.
