Our first week of gorgeous weather has arrived: our Spring of Deception. It will be chilly again before the heat really sets in for the season, but we'll enjoy this little taste while it's here.
Even better, today was a day off from school! I packed up the kids and Amber, and we headed to a nearby nature preserve to stretch our legs.
There was a surprise -- a playground near the parking lot, and we were the only ones there! It was really fun, with ropes and treehouses and giant "log" structures.
