Quarantine

... and the hits just keep on coming.

Thursday I got a call from the school, informing me that Little Man was exposed to Covid and has to quarantine for 10 days. The district policy states that as long as the kids keep their masks on, they don't need to quarantine if a classmate tests positive. However, this child sat next to Little Man at breakfast ... which required removing their masks. Sweet Pea doesn't have to quarantine, because she wasn't sitting near this child when she removed her mask to eat. But since Little Man was, he's out for 10 days now (or longer, if he starts showing symptoms).

Yesterday was Day 1 of homeschooling, and it went fairly well. Little Man did an impressive amount of writing, considering how challenging it is for him. He finished up his three assignments around 2 pm, practiced piano, and had time to play before the girls got home.

Unfortunately, he will not be able to attend Dane's party this weekend. I will take the girls, and MJ will stay home with Little Man. He will also miss his next two baseball games, but fortunately his quarantine will end in time for his final game and trick or treating.
