O Christmas Tree

Last weekend we all piled into my new car -- even Amber -- and went to our church to get a Christmas tree. A very nice older man, who was wearing an Army shirt just like Little Man's, helped us sort through the options.

Once we picked the perfect one, I asked him if he'd take a picture of us with the tree. He happily obliged, and spent a minute or two fiddling with my phone. After he handed it back to me, I realized that there were no picture of us with the tree. Hmmm, I thought. He must have not known the right place to press to take a picture.

I asked him to try a few more, and demonstrated where to touch. He smiled and happily did it again. He handed the phone back to me and said, "There's some good ones on there!"

Nope. There were still none. Bless his heart -- he was so kind, but I have no idea what he was doing with my phone!

So I asked the kids to get in front of the tree, and took this one of them.

We got it home and decorated it right away. Little Man did the honors this year by putting the star on top. It'll continue to beautifully decorate our house for the rest of the season!

Side note: I need a new camera! Mine is having a heck of a time focusing lately.
