In a happy coincidence, I was able to see the Pohls twice in two weeks! The first was when I went to Pittsburgh for Tommy's Confirmation. But this past weekend, they stopped by to visit for a night on their way home from the beach. Even better -- it was the same weekend as Sweet Pea and CC's Cirque performance, so the Pohls got to watch the girls do what they love and have talked so much about.
After the show, we all went out to eat with my dad, and had a really pleasant evening. What a nice way to spend time with old friends! And I love how our kids get along so well, even when it's been a while since they've seen each other. (Also: look how much taller Tommy is than CC! He is two days older than she is, but about a foot taller!)
