Here's a shot of CC trying really hard to sit up.  She can't do it on her own yet -- she just topples over -- but whenever she's in a reclining seat of any kind (carseat, bouncy seat, Mamaroo chair), she struggles to sit up. 

She's gotten pretty good at it.  She stayed in this position this morning, for example, for about 15 minutes as we babbled back and forth at each other.  But unfortunately that probably means the useful life of these chairs is limited!  Pretty soon she will be too heavy for me to trust the chair to support her as she leans forward against the straps.
