Of course Grandma and Grandpa were there -- they came in on Wednesday so we were able to spend several full days with them. The kids were in heaven with all the love and attention.
And on Friday, cousins Anna and Abby flew in with their mom, Aunt Kelly:
Chaos ensued. But it was happy chaos, so it was okay! But put 5 kids and a large dog together in a house during a very rainy weekend and you're bound to have chaos.
Anna and Abby were beside themselves with excitement to play with the kids. Little Man and Sweet Pea were a little overwhelmed at times, but occasionally they didn't cry when they were held:
MJ gave Little Man a trim so he would look his best at the party. He had multiple pairs of little eyes watching his every move:
Within hours, CC was Anna's biggest fan. It was "Me sit next to Anna" and "Go on swingset with Anna" all weekend. She even held Anna's hand on a walk around the neighborhood (in the rain, naturally).
It was so nice to have all 5 cousins together for the very first time! We'll definitely have to do this more often in the future.
