Easter Eggs

We did one other big activity while we were at Folley Beach: dyeing Easter Eggs. Messy, but fun. And miraculously, I was able to get all the food coloring and dye out of the kids' clothes afterwards.

We tried three methods. First, the standard: dipping the eggs into dyed water and vinegar. Second, mixing shaving cream with multiple colors of food coloring and rolling the eggs in it, for a marbled effect. Third, wrapping the eggs in paper towels and dripping food coloring onto the paper towel, for a tie-dyed effect. WOW -- the tie-dye method was amazing! We will definitely do that for every Easter from now on!
