Decorating the Tree

It was Sweet Pea's turn to put the star on the tree, so she waited (im)patiently while I strung the lights. Then it was time!

Afterwards we all started putting ornaments on. It was a really nice evening, with Christmas carols playing and the kids exclaiming over each ornament as it was taken out.

Where was Little Man, you ask? Passed out on the couch. He slept straight through dinner and the tree decorating, felled by a bad cold with a fever. Poor guy! But we saved a little pile of ornaments for him to put on the tree the next day.

MJ pinned the oh-so-sacred "Beat Navy" button onto our Corduroy Bear ornament, and put it in a place of honor on the tree.
